Sneak peek

I know it's been a while since I've made a blog, but life tends to get in the way. And man has life been gettign in the way lately. But I'm here to share a snippet of the story I hope to release at the end of this month. Fingers crossed nothing else goes to hell, and Kiss the Paparazzi will be in your hands on May 23rd. Kiss the Paparazzi i the next in my re-release schedule of stories that were previously available only at Scribd!

Sneak Peak -

He didn’t often think too hard about his appearance, but after googling Alice’s address, he realized that was probably going to change. After surfing with Jamie and lunch, he spent the day cleaning his car and going through his wardrobe to find his least raggedy clothes. In the end, his choices were pretty abysmal. As a paparazzo, he didn’t have to look great. He just wore shorts and T-shirts, a baseball cap to shade his eyes, that was it. So between that and the move to the tiny apartment after breaking up with Lacy, well, his wardrobe had suffered.
If Alice hadn’t been lying about paying him well, he’d end up spending a good amount of money bringing his wardrobe back up to snuff. But for his first day, he wore jeans that miraculously weren’t holey and a polo that he didn’t remember buying. He couldn’t do anything about his sneakers, though, and hoped she’d give him a pass on them.
He pulled up to her gate at eight a.m., and took a few deep breaths when he was buzzed in. He parked next to the cherry red Charger that he’d captured her in more than once. It brought it home to him, finally, who it was he was working for. The change from lowly pap to this? It was huge. And then he was there, in her driveway, hoping he’d made the right choice.

Like I said, cross everything in hopes that I can make this deadline! (and I really hope you'll like Alice and Caleb's story!)
